Day 3 Update

Three days in, Globeworks is settling into its stride — and today brought a mix of deep technical upgrades, community fun, and a glimpse at the future of server-wide politics. Here’s everything that landed on Day 3.

PrismPanel: Rollbacks, Drainage, and Damage Control

Our brand-new PrismPanel plugin took a huge leap forward today. It now goes far beyond simple grief rollback — giving staff the ability to drain water and lava, inspect damage with clarity, and reverse destructive actions of any kind.
If someone decides to take the destructive path, PrismPanel makes sure we can undo it quickly, cleanly, and with full visibility.

Diplomacy Plugin in Development

A major project is underway: a complete overhaul of alliances, wars, treaties, and diplomacy across Globeworks.
This will reshape how towns and nations interact — from peaceful cooperation to structured conflict. Expect more details later this week.

News on the Front Page

The Globeworks website now shows the latest three news articles right on the homepage, making it easier for players to stay up to date with server changes and events.

Cleaner Chat: Advancements Disabled

To reduce chat clutter and keep conversations readable, Paper advancements have been disabled. No more achievement spam — just clean, focused chat.

Smarter Security Scanners

Both the Lectern Scanner and Security Detector have been updated to ignore Towny permissions.
This means any player with the correct passport or ticket can use scanners and pass through security checkpoints, even inside towns.
It’s a big improvement for airports, borders, transit hubs, and any build that relies on controlled access.

Community Event: The First Camel Race đŸȘ

Globeworks hosted its first-ever camel race today — a small turnout, but a gorgeous circuit and a fun start to community events.
Another race is planned for tomorrow at around 2pm UK time (watch Discord for confirmation).
If you missed the first one, this is your chance to join in.

Sports District Under Construction 🏇🏁

A massive new sports area is being built, featuring:

  • Horse racing
  • Camel racing
  • Kart racing
  • Ice boat racing
  • And more to come


This will become one of the biggest community hubs on the server — perfect for tournaments, leagues, and casual fun.
