A busy weekend of fixes, upgrades, new features, and continued growth across the Globeworks world.

Weekend Update

This weekend brought several important changes to Globeworks — some planned, some reactive — all aimed at improving stability, usability, and the overall player experience. Here’s everything that changed.

Tab Menu Now Shows All Players

The Java Tab menu has been updated so it now displays every player online, whether they’re in the lobby or the Earth server. This makes it far easier to see who’s around and improves communication across the entire network.

Container Protection @@BODY_HTML@@amp; Stability Fixes

Early on Sunday 30th August, our monitoring detected an issue with container over‑allocation affecting the servers. We reacted quickly, adjusted the settings, and restored stability. These protections should prevent similar issues in the future.

LecternScanner Fixes

We applied a fix to the LecternScanner plugin to resolve a problem with one‑time tickets.
Additionally, printed items now reference the book’s first line when scanned, making messages clearer and more intuitive.

New Plugin: Wonders of the World

We deployed a brand‑new Globeworks‑exclusive plugin: Wonders of the World.
More details will be shared tomorrow — but this marks the beginning of a new world‑scale feature set.

Map Updates: Wonders @@BODY_HTML@@amp; Player Warps

With the release of Wonders of the World, the map has been updated to show:

  • Wonders
  • Player warps

You may need to enable the relevant layer in the map menu to see these new markers.

Player Growth Continues

Globeworks has now reached 55 unique players in just two weeks of operation.
We’ll continue adding unique features, systems, and experiences to attract new players and keep the world evolving.

That’s everything for this weekend — more updates coming tomorrow as we expand on the Wonders system and continue refining the world of Globeworks.
