A busy few days of updates across the website, server systems and community growth as Globeworks continues to evolve.

Update

We have made several improvements today across both the website and the server, continuing our push to refine the Globeworks experience and keep the community safe, stable and enjoyable.

Website Improvements

The website now shows the player count directly in the header and on the server status page, so you can instantly see how many players are online.

On the staff page, any staff member who is currently online is now marked with a green dot, making it easy to know who is available.

Anti Cheat Enhancements

We have updated our anti cheat capability, improving detection of players who may be using mods or tools to gain an advantage.
We do not approve of cheating in any form. It creates an unfair environment and damages the experience for others. Anyone suspected of cheating will face strict consequences.

Profanity Monitoring Overhaul

Our automated profanity system has been upgraded and now categorises language into:

  • Soft profanity
    Results in temporary chat mutes.

  • Hard profanity
    Includes racial slurs and similar language.
    These will result in harsh penalties including temporary and permanent bans.

Globeworks operates a strict zero tolerance policy on hard profanity.

Player Growth Continues

We are now at 87 unique players, which is around thirty more than are in the Discord.
Evenings and weekends in European time zones are seeing particularly strong activity.

Expanding Media Presence

Our media efforts have expanded from YouTube to TikTok, and we are exploring partnerships with other Minecraft servers to help grow the player base even further.
