A major day of improvements across moderation, economy, infrastructure and the website as Globeworks continues to evolve at high speed.
Update
Today brought another huge wave of changes to Globeworks, focused on strengthening moderation, improving the economy, updating core systems and expanding website functionality.
Moderator Tools Upgraded Again
Following recent griefing incidents, we have upgraded the moderator tools once more. Staff can now:
- Locate any item anywhere in the world
- Correct griefing even if the player responsible is offline or banned
This makes restoring damaged areas significantly easier and ensures griefing can be reversed quickly and accurately.
Massive Shop Update with Dynamic Pricing
The shop has received a major overhaul. New items have been added, including netherite, and the entire system now uses dynamic pricing.
This means:
- Selling large quantities of the same item will reduce its sell price
- Buying large quantities will increase its buy price
The shop now works on true supply and demand, making the economy fairer and preventing huge automated farms from generating excessive revenue with items that have little real value.
Large Round of Server Updates
A significant batch of server updates has been deployed, including:
- Improved backwards and forwards version compatibility
- Updates to the sit plugin
- Updates to the lobby to Earth bridge
- Updates to skins restorer
More updates are planned over the coming days as we continue refining stability and performance.
Live Player List Added to the Website
A brand new feature has been added to the website: a live player list.
