A sudden Minecraft Bedrock update blocked players from joining, but Globeworks is already back up and running.

Update

Minecraft Bedrock pushed an update today which resulted in players being unable to access the server. Behind the scenes we had already been preparing to move the server to version 26.3, so we were partly ahead of the change, but today’s rollout still forced Bedrock players offline for a short period.

Access Restored

We have now resolved the issue.
This involved:

  • Updating the proxy
  • Switching to a new authentication module that receives more frequent updates

If you are a paid Java and Bedrock player, you will log straight through as normal.
If you use a cracked version of Minecraft, you will need to log in the same way you did before.

We have tested access using both a Java and a Bedrock account, and everything appears to be working correctly. However, we cannot test cracked access ourselves because we only use paid software.

If You Lost Access

Do not panic.
If you cannot join after today’s changes:

We will restore your access as quickly as possible.

Server Version Status

The servers are still running 26.2 for now.
We will move them to the latest version once additional testing is complete.

Forced Early Changes

The Bedrock and Geyser update forced our hand to deploy some components earlier than planned, but everything is now stable again.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone for your patience this evening while we restored access.
If you experience any issues, raise a ticket or email support@globeworks.com with your player name so we can resolve it quickly.
