Flight Time Guide
Flight is a limited resource on this server. Buy time, turn it on when you need it, and watch the countdown so you don’t run out mid-air.
You don’t get unlimited flight by default. Instead you hold a pool of flight time. While that time is running and flight is enabled, you can fly. When it runs out, flight turns off.
| What you do | What happens |
|---|---|
| Buy time | Spend in-game money in the flight shop to add minutes to your balance. |
| Toggle flight | Turn flight on or off. Time only counts down while you are actually flying (or as the server has configured it). |
| Watch the timer | A countdown appears in the action bar so you always know how much time is left. |
- Make sure you have flight time remaining (check with the command below, or look at the action bar when flying).
- Type /fly to turn flight on.
- Double-jump or use normal creative-style flight controls to take off.
- Type /fly again to turn flight off when you’re done.
- /flyToggle your own flight on or off
- /fly checkSee how much flight time you have left
- /fly displayShow or hide the action-bar countdown
Good to know:
- If you have no time left, /fly will not enable flight.
- Some worlds may block flight entirely — if it won’t turn on, you may be in a blocked world.
- Your remaining time is saved, so logging out does not wipe it.
Open the flight shop and pick a package. You pay with the server’s normal economy balance.
- /fly shopOpen the flight purchase menu
- Run /fly shop.
- Choose how much time you want to buy.
- Confirm — the cost is taken from your balance and the time is added to your flight pool.
Exact prices and package sizes are set by the server. If you don’t have enough money, the purchase will fail.
You can tweak how flight feedback looks and sounds for you.
- /fly settingsOpen the settings menu
Typical options include:
- Action-bar timer on or off
- Sounds on or off
- Particles on or off
- Notifications on or off
You can also use /fly display as a quick way to toggle only the action-bar countdown.
You cannot use flight to escape a fight. When you hit another player or are hit by one:
- If you are flying, flight is turned off immediately.
- You cannot turn flight back on for a short cooldown (longer for the attacker, shorter for the victim by default).
- Any flight time you still had is kept — the timer pauses while restricted. Time you already used is not refunded.
Every new hit refreshes the cooldown. Keep fighting and the restriction keeps resetting until the fight ends and the timer runs out.
Good to know:
- This works together with other combat systems on the server (for example combat lock on teleports).
- Once the cooldown ends and you still have flight time, you can use /fly again.
- /flyToggle flight on or off
- /fly shopBuy more flight time
- /fly settingsSounds, particles, timer preferences
- /fly checkSee remaining flight time
- /fly displayToggle the action-bar countdown
- Buy time before you need it — don’t wait until you’re already falling.
- Turn flight off when you’re on the ground so you don’t waste time by accident.
- Watch the action-bar timer on long flights so you land before it hits zero.
- In PvP, expect flight to drop the moment you or your opponent land a hit.
- If /fly does nothing, check your remaining time and whether the world allows flight.
